Plantar warts are common lesions that affect millions of people worldwide. They are caused by the human papilloma virus and may be very painful. Clinically they can mimic Morton`s neuromas or foreign bodies. Sonography is a useful imaging modality that can support both diagnosis and monitoring of the treatment.
